Yo Is This True I Heard On Other Boards That Snoop Is Suing Nas For The Verse On "Oochie Wally"

Here This Is What I Read:
"New York's Hip Hop station Hot 97 reported that Snoop Dogg is suing Nas.Remember i the first verse for Oochie Wally.Nas says"I got biches in the livin room gettin it on and they ain't leavin till six in the mornin"Well evry body know that's from:"Gin and Juice"
Snoop is suing Nas for 10% of his publishing."

i doubt its true but i read it on many sites so i dunno..i think its Suge doin it though cause he owns all the publishing rights not Snoop for that song...he's tryin to give Snoop a bad name...

it makes me wonder tho.. i mean i've heard a shit load of rappers use other rappers lines so does that mean that everytime one of them used it they went and got permission to do it... i mean shit.. thats alot.. but thats kinda wack to sue for it.. less theres more we dont kno bout it.. like snoop went up to him was like u use my line and nas was like fuck you but that would be really weird cuz theres nothing that i kno of.. i mean nas did shit with nate 2 months ago or so...

Thats wack man. I have heard that line so many times. (atleast something similiar to it) Why would snoop need to sue nas for that. If snoop is gonna sue nas he should sue jay-z and beanie sigel. (ex: on jigga my nigga [ruff ryders vol1] jay-z bites snoop.) and (on beanie's sigel was the name [the reason]) Shit, Snoop doesn't even own any of those tracks.

Yah,..If anybody could sue it would be Suge but I really doubt they would win that case.  Maybe if it was used as the hook there could be something to it.  Either way-Rappers will always sample lines and melodies from eachother..its just one of those things and I doubt Snoop would sue over something so unimportant.

and memphis bleek to his bitting on snoop shit,,, remeber the track " do my " well he say something like "murda is chillin , bleek is chillin, what more can i say, we still....",, but i don't remember the song  from snoop,, but i know he says the same thing finish by" what more can i say,, top billing " i think,,,i personally agree with the artits suiing the other bitting , cause they first, that the same style of the original,, second , the artits doesn't make any money,, so ,, it's like the other artits that copie make money over the original artists (sorry, i made a few errors in the text,, it  ain't my fault' on the word artist more precisely)

  I know what lines you're talkin about.... Snoop says that on the Eastsidaz.... But I dont think those are Snoops lines either...

It's just some bullshit rumours. Donno who started them but I think it's some kiddo on some forum that started that shit.

It's absolutly NOT DONE for any rapper to claim a rhyme is his. This would mean that every lyricist has to watch they words because he might walk into a lawsuit right there. Fuckin bullshit.

Besides if this is true: Destiny's child should sui just about every rapper in the game from eminem to mos def for the use of their HOOK, say my name. It ain't happenin  8)
