Kurupt Aligns W/ Hi-Tek & T. Martin For New Solo - January 19, 2008 By : Eddie

If you checked out Thursday's episode of Dubcnn's "Coming Up With Young De" Radio Show, you got to hear some major exclusive news directly from Kurupt, who appeared on the program as a special guest host.

Kurupt has announced that Hi-Tek and Terrace Martin will be overseeing the production of his next solo album. When asked about the elusive project, Kurupt said, "All I've gotta say is, it's different than anything else they've heard Kurupt on. That's all I can tell them!"

There's also a big mystery surrounding who will put out the project. We'll keep you posted as soon as we know anything else! Until then, you can look out for the new Dogg Pound album "100 Wayz", a Kurupt & DJ Quik duo album produced by DJ Quik and Terrace Martin, and Snoop Dogg's "Ego Trippin," which will feature involvement from DJ Quik, Terrace Martin, Problem, and Teddy Riley among many others.

Kurupt is also hosting Young De's "Audio Hustlaz Volume 1" street album, which will drop exclusively for free download on Dubcnn in early February. It looks you're going to hear a lot from Young Gotti in the near future!

Stay tuned to Dubcnn for the latest on the West Coast.

Think I got an realistic idea about the mysterious producer: Hi-Tek!!!

"Dubcnn: I was also happy to see that you hooked back up with Kurupt for this album, the "Keep It Moving" song off Vol. 2 was one of my favorites.

Oh me too, I love that one! I appreciate that fam. Me and Kurupt is like family, him, Snoop and the whole Dogg House, they treat me like family so I try to do the same with them. Give and take. We just try to keep it moving basically! Snoop always comes through for me, and if I can't get Snoop cause he's too busy, I try to get some of his family, and at the same time I'm a big fan of Kurupt, I think he's one of the most slept on MC's out there. A lot of people don't give him his props, but I think he's still got it, I really love what Kurupt do and how he comes on a track, how he rides the track, so I love Kurupt."

Hi-Tek holds very large pieces on Kurupt so why not?

Haha, I know it  ;D That album will be fucking great, canīt wait for it  :o

Kurupt and Hi-Tek work great together. This is Kurupt's last chance for me. At one point dude was my favorite rapper but in recent years he's become completely unlistentoable. If this turns out to be a trash project full of big words that don't mean shiet and a bunch of "eat a dick bitch" lines then I'm giving up on him.

Its 2008 yall, I'm writing niggas off. No artist is exempt.
