i'm not sure bout that dogg,, cause that's not the chronic who brings snoop dogg in tha game ,,,  it's because  of the song "deep cover" then dr.dre try snoop on his album and the chronic just help doggystyle but it doesn't create it...naww mean...1

I dunno...Doggystyle has a different sound. Also, shorter(my version, anyhow).

The sound is a bit...well, spookier...Just as a point, Fuck Wit Dre Day had a LOT of meaning.

Doggystyle, review of good songs and why:

G-Funk Intro: Just CAUSE...Except the words don't really mean anything...

Gin and Juice: WOW...The chorus also sounds nice...=)

Lodi Dodi:Take THAT Slick Rick! =) Dope beat, Nancy Fletcher makes my eyes open wide in shock every time...great story tell.

Murder Was The Case:My favourite line is "My eyes are closed..." One of my all time favourites. A bit depressive for Snoopy, but we know he had issues. =)

Who Am I:My second favourite G-Funk song....Bump that motherfucker! Pure dope, purer than Colombian Gold...

Ain't No Fun:Nate's best performance outside of G-Funk Classics...Kurupt is great, though neither Warren nor Snoop actually make us fall back in shock. Lovely "Chronic"-ey beat, that I must say I'm obsessed with. Great chorus.

Gz And Hustlas:Easily the best song here. One of the greatest songs in rap history...I generally faint from shock at the pure quality of it...

The Chronic has "Fuck Wit Dre Day", "Let  Me Ride", "The Day The Niggaz Took Over", "Nuthin' But A G Thang", "Deez Nuuuts", "Lil Ghetto Boy", "A Nigga Witta Gun", "Rat-Tat-Tat-Tat", "Stranded On Death Row" and "Bitches Ain't Shit".

So, marginally, by percentages...The Chronic wins for me. Tho Doggystyle has more "just nice" songs than Chronic....Which, I suppose, has none. DS has Doggy Dogg World, Serial Killa, Tha Shiznit....So possibly it's better overall.

damn I thought I posted on this thread already.

Doggystyle is a more rounded album - silky smooth consistent

i'd say the chronic has a wider variety of tracks, and is darker.

Doggystyle gets my vote - but only just

naw, Bdogg is right, the chronic did help create doggystyle just the references in doggystyle to shit from chronic proves it alone. and didn't ANYONE read my reasoning why the chronic is better?? eh,peace-Tanjint

I can't say it is a tie now that I think about it. Since Doggystyle is an improved version of the Chronic (production wise) then that makes Doggystyle a better album. Dre worked harder. The guests, most were on the Chronic, had improved from the last time around. As a whole album, Doggystyle is better.

When it comes to the format of the songs and how good they are The Chronic takes it. It has more substance and more meaning than Doggystyle.

Damn Now I'm back at a tie LOL.
