I don't know why most peep get uptite about Dre getting shit for quiting Deathrow. The guy maybe made the company millions but he did quit. For e.g if you worked in McDonalds and said to the manager that's it I quit, where's my $1000 for quiting. I know the position ain't the same as the one Dre was in but it's what it was like. He quit a company and wants paid for quiting.

Anyway I think Cube got more money. He has made tons of films and lots of his albums have gone at least double platinum where-as Dre has got his own company and an album which can't come no-where near cubes amount of money. Dre making $73 mill, bullshit. That guy ain't that popular to make that enough money and if he has then it must have been through Amerikan sales cause he pretty much disliked by a lot of people over here in the UK.

dre wasn't just an artist he was the do foundered him n suge owned deathrow together so yes he would be intitled to a VERY large payout which he never got

Ka Rule I ain't gonna start beefin with ya over the internet cause that just plain stupid but Dre quit Deathrow so was therefore entitled to nothing. You don't quit something and expect to get paid for it. Also I think Dre has been more than compincated with some of the talent he took from Deathrow yet only doing it while Suge Knight was in jail so I think they even. Dre is gay and got what he deserved. If you ran a big company and quit, you would expect the new owner to pay you money for it? People are crazy if they think that.

thats an ignorant view, even suge knight said if he was dre he would have made sure he got $70 million, think of it like this if u have shares in a company and u don't want to be associated with the company as its a ciggarette company for example you sell your shares and get back what their worth.....this is exactly the same with deathrow except there are only two share holders dre and suge  dre wants to get rid of his 50 % share so he is entitled to what its worth.....do you understand now?

oh yea i'm from the uk too and dre isn't hated over here shit he even went platinum with 2001 which is a rarity over here the only ppl who hate him are brain washed 2pac/deathrow fans who continue to say he is gay everyy1 i know who is into rap likes dre, 4got about dre won the battle of the beats on kiss100 about 3 months str8 if not more no1 wasknockin it off 2001 beats are still getting played on westwood blah blah blah

What the hell are you talking about?  Dre was not a mere "employee" to Death Row Records.  He was a founding father.  His contributions were essential in Death Rows rise to fame.  It doesn't matter that Dre quit, he should have been fairly compensated by Suge just as any other former partner would be in "real" business.

So what your saying is that if Eminem left Aftermath he should be paid for doing so and if Dre quit Aftermath he should be paid for doing so, if Suge does finally quit Deathrow he should get paid from them for quiting. Ya'll are stuck up Dre's ass licking it. The guy got what he deserved and that was FUCK ALL

dre's 2001 cd went 4 x platinum here in Canada and the population of Canada is in the 30,000,000 range so hes big here. i think they both got a lot of money but i think dre has more...and if dre doesn`t have more money he will soon cause eminem is suppose to release another album and so is dre

eminem doesn't own aftermath so he isn't entitled to anything but stuff with shady records is different tho

suge can't just leave deathrow he can either close it or sell it
its the same with dre and aftermath, this is because they are the only ones who own it unless there are some silent partners which i don't know about

Look Dre ain't popular over here. I have always given Dre credit for his beats but his rapping is shit. The guy is a fucking pussy. I don't like Deathrow myself but Dre didn't sell his 50% he threw in Deathrow's face and said here I'm quiting. Not here I'm quiting but keeping my 50% share. He didn't want anything to do with Deathrow so he left and got what he deserved. And so what about Pac. At least the guy rapped about summin other than fucking bithces. What was Dre's Chronic 2001 album about. Wait let's see. Bitches and weed, summin he don't do. Hmm. And he does the west side sign like he fucking represent the place. It wasn't that when he quit Deathrow running away from Westside cause he couldn't handle what was happening. Fucking Pussy. Tupac would murder the guy if he was here 2day. Although he is dead I still don't believe a guy could have so much unreleased stuff. Anyway I h8 Dre as  rapper, think he is one of the best producers, H8 Suge Knight, Like Deathrow as they brought good rappers to the scene. Also the only reason so many people bought Dre's album was not the fact that he is a good rapper (he ain't) it was because he hadn't released and album since 1993 and people still wanted to see if he still got it and a lot of people I know, not just my dawgs but from the UK on other forum websites were disappointed the same way I was when I bought Pac's Until The End Of Time.

The situation between Dre and Eminem is entirely different.  Eminem is an artist signed to Dre's label, but Dre and Suge were business partners.  THERE IS A HUGE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN THE TWO.

Nobody here is riding Dre's dick.  It's just obvious that there is a RIGHT and WRONG way to do business and Suge is doing it the WRONG fucking way!

n-imy its cool if you dont like Dre but saying all that shit about him is unnecessary, you sound like a death row dickteaser which i hope youre not.

and to say hes unpopular over here in the uk is pretty ridiculous. even if you hate the guy, you have to realize he is probably the second most popular hip hop artist commercially here behind eminem

I Agree With The Stock Quote... if You Own Stock, You Keep That Stock, Even If You Quit. Stock Still Has Value.

BTW, Dre Said He Left With Nothing As His Choice, Because He

A. Wanted To Prove He Didn't need Suge, And Would Just Do It Again, Bigger, Better
B. Didn't Want Dirt Money...

I Dunno... Suge Made A Good POint. Dre Coulda Sued Suge, And Gotten Plenty.
