Phillies.... Criminally overrated.... took a epic collapse by the Mets for them to win the division by one game
Cubbies.... I really like them... I would of actually pick them to win it all but its the cubs so you know they wont
D-Backs....I wouldn't trust any pitcher that was a star on the A's plus I see some of those kids going through growing pains.  I stil think they will be a good team just not WS good

AL:
Boston:  defending champs, pitching staff is solid on all ends and offense is still very productive
NY:  offense is our best asset, we've got Wang Pettite Mussina Hughes and Joba as our possible starting 5 - that'd be sick if Moose is ok.  we should rack up some wins although i project a slow start.
Detroit:  lots of offense, and for pitching they got Verlander and a bunch of underachieving slobs (including Willis who hasn't been much since 2005).  wonder if zumaya is healthy.
Cleveland: should be as dangerous as last year, is Pronk peaking?
angels:  very interesting x factor
seattle:  nice 1-2 punch

NL
mets:  best lineup in the NL and the best pitcher
dbacks:  best 1-2 punch in the NL
padres: peavy and young are great but trevor coughman is a stat compiler who needs to retire.
phillies:  solid lineup, still not enough pitching
rockies:  nope.

...we have the right mix of vets and youngsters. 

last year we could have made it, if it all didnt fall apart...but we improved the club on AND off the field...

we will at least be NL champs.
