Crooked I is good but we havent really seen him that much  i mean usually you wait after thier sophmore album. but from what we have seen so far he has been good. but there are so many great artist out there that i dont think he would be in the top 20 in my opinion

But maybe in NIK's opinion cause if you tell everyone in here to write out a list of their top 20 mc's their not all gonna be the same and thats just how its gonna be no matter what anyone does.

So far, I never heard Crooked I come off whack, and that's rare...He was basically all over the C-Style Compilation, so I'm judging him on over 15 songs that I heard with him on it, not 2 or 3 like most of yall...I bet if we made a list of top 20 MC's Crooked I would most definently be in there...

LOLOLOLOLOLOLOLO, C-Style compilation is basically like his CD, he is on almost every track, you obviously dont have this....Plus add up all the shit he's done on Soundtracks, Guest Spots, Other Compilations. Etc....He's been on at leats 25 tracks that I've heard of...obviously, you only have heard 3 or 4 of his tracks, and that's why yall dont know how good he is...

i dunno he's one of the best out now, but not of all time, i'm not going to say he's the best rapper i've heard ever like engies would say that's a little shallow...considering he thinks daz's lyrics are up there with the likes of GZA and Inspectah Decks....(i ain't hatin' engies your still my homeboy)  but i dunno i think these rappers who are out now are better than crooked...


1. Xzibit-now just cuz y'all didn't like his album doesn't make him not any good anymore....he can kill almost any mc on wax...including crooked I...just take a look at his track with him on streetz iz a mutha, you can't tell me that xzibit didn't rip it better than crooked on that track

2. Rass Kass- he's a lyrical jewel, people on the east coast as well as the west coast love him...c'mon when people compare you to Rakim and 2pac in a possitive way..you gotta be good

3. Nas- nas might have fallen a tad since his glory days but he is still capable of dishing it out

4. Kurupt-one of the dons of westcoast MC'ing

5. Method Man-shit aint' too many who can fuck with the ticalionstalion

6.Eminem- my lord , he might be loved by white people but so what i think he's one of today's premier mc's

7. planet asia-for reals tight tight mc'ing

8. Gza- dude has some of the best metophores in all of hip hop

9. common-i don't like him but he is a very damn good mc

10. mos def- i actually think as the years go on he'll be hailed as one of the best
