dam...Universal cant be stopped!!!!!!!!!

SCARFACE LEAVES RAP-A-LOT FOR DEF JAM
Words: Eurweb

Most recent album, "Last of a Dying Breed," certified gold.

*Def Jam's roster is getting fatter by the day. Rap-A-Lot star and Def Jam South President Scarface recently signed a solo deal with Def Jam. His most recent Rap-A-Lot release was last year's "The Last of a Dying Breed." We don't think Rap-A-Lot CEO and president James Prince is too happy about that.

yeh i find that sad...Face left a southern label for an eastern one...he should support the label that brought him out...oh well i guess def jam is gonna pay him more and is a much more successful label that will open more doors for him...Face is a LEGEND!

Scarface is one of my favorites. His early solo albums and the albums with the Geto Boys were classic. I think he deserves to make alot of money and get some recognition. Plus he is the president of Def Jam South so of course he would sign with Def Jam. Didn't he say "Last of a Dying Breed" was his last album?

It was very good. My two favorites are "Never Seen a Man Cry" and "Hand of the Dead Body" feat. Ice Cube. THat album was classic but I couldn't do a review for it cause I was busy as hell last week.

Yeah but if you get signed to Def Jam than your bound to make some money. Isn't that the point of signing to a label anyways. He wants money and he deserves it.

yeah, but He is the President of Def Jam South, so basically it is his own label that he runs, but he must also build it up like the rest of the Def Jam.  He did good with Ludacris, that was his first release on Def Jam South, so he is doing something right.  His superiors are who? russel, and Universal?  He has it made...

he will...in a interview i read somewhere..he said for his next project he is going to have all new different types of beats......from producers that nobody has heard of...He said he respects all the current producers.....but said all there shit is starting to sound the same...personally i think he is talking more about the east coast producers.........

but then he also said that he is trying to fuck with Dre........he said they recorded other songs that didnt make the album.  That one song on his CD Untouchable was Tight...it was him dre and cube i think called Game Over.....not sure though...but face said it all started on the East/Coast Killa West Coast Killaz Song Dre did.....

If you guys remember the video....it is Scarface and Dre sitting at the table in the dark smokin some cigars.......
Scarface and Dre.....u know it will be hot!
