shit is not professional at all also..
if thery had the intention to put a booklet with the credits, to print the cd's and to make covers with a good quality impression, they will sell really more cd's than now..

ftp doesnt hav that kind of money to do that but is that really important? so what even if ther on cd-r? your getting unreleased music that no one else is doing.

hahaha...these people ruin these kids who buy their shit. How long have they been stringing along people promising if they buy these shit albums, that they will get good ones down the road. These people aint doin shit for the people. Didnt they promise a Crooked i album like a year ago? This shit is a joke and i feel bad for the people who buy these things in hopes of getting something better.

crooked i would sue ftp if they tried to sell his dr material. he wants his boss album released first then his old stuff, he said in a recent interview.

ftps website change? it wont load for me =/

lol it works perfectly for me

is any1 goin 2 order a copy?

See my post above as to why the Crooked I album is not released. It was CROOKED I not FTP to fault for that one.

So you guys really aren't feeling the J-Flexx or what? I'm not saying your opinion is wrong, just after listening to just the sampler I thought more people would dig the album.

Imagine if McDonald's said they'd come up with a brand new burger that would blow everyone away. It's delicious - everything you want from fast food. But there's a catch. The only way they can sell it is if everyone who wants it goes to their nearest McDonald's and buys another new burger they've introduced first. It tastes average, it's nothing special. And sorry, but unless McDonald's gets enough sales from this shit sandwich, it's going to refuse to let you buy the burger you really want and would happily spend money on.

Put the FTP business model in the context of any other industry and it shows what a joke it is.

Exactly, if they stopped so explicitly saying "buy up this album, and WE MAY RELEASE, what you guys really want" thing, they get much better pub for their efforts.

Their whole marketing plan is supremely retarded...

I'm just curious about the logic here...everytime these guys go to release a cd, they say they won't release the next one unless enough orders get filled for the current one.  They also say how you won't be dissapointed and it is such great material, etc.  Why do they have to keep doing this?  If every cd is such great material that people aren't disapointed, then why do they need to keep saying these things?  Why don't they just let the J Flexx album be, whoever bought it, bought it, whoever downloads it, downloads it, and thats it.  If the J flexx album is really as good as its talked about, won't people just realize that, and then buy the sam sneed cd?

Why don't they say:  The J Flexx album is so fucking hot, but the sam sneed one is even better.  Take a listen to the Flexx album, and then you make the decision.  And then people can make their own decision about it.  And if these albums are so damn hot, then why do they constantly have to beg and threaten people to buy them?

im on the same page that if its not someone ur interested in, dont buy it just to get something later that you gotta pay for. but if ur into classic death row, this is a collector item. to the guy who made the mcdonalds analogy, homie it seems like nobody understands that it takes money to get these songs and to transfer them in good quality. if you paid for unreleased material from your favorite artist would u put it out to ungrateful bitches for free?? it dont make sense. if i went by how u guys think, i would buy 50 big macs and give them out free for "the love of it". fukin hippies

The one thing they don't understand is the same thing the music biz in general doesn't get...that music fans today prefer downloading it or listing to more than 30 second clips to get a feel for the album, then decide whether to support the artist. Artists got away with releasing a lot of garbage in the 90's and they're paying the price for quantity over quality.

They were counting on the many Golden Era Death Row fans to cop the album on name alone without giving second thoughts, and that really isn't the way music fans think anymore.

im on the same page that if its not someone ur interested in, dont buy it just to get something later that you gotta pay for

true, like that Petey Pablo album (Life After Death Row). There's maybe one track off the cd I heard that I'd actually listen to semi-regularly ("Way Out There" w/Eastwood) but I'm not dropping $20-25 on an artist I'm not a fan of
