You already know, he's going to drop ''The Leaders Of The New School LP'' with Tha Lowlifes on May. He wrote on myspace that it's going to be under EMI Music distribution. Keep your eyes on it, he bounces back. I think he needs some promotion, could you do an interview with him Nima? I think everybody here is very interested in.
Bad Ass"Puttin It Down"Priority: DJ PoohThose damn Dogg Pound Gangstas are on the loose again and the dog catcher can't do shit about it!But this time it's not the usual suspects who are casuin' havoc, it's an equally vicious canine upstart namedBad Ass. This Long Beach-based dues-payer made a little noise a while back as a member of Snoop's LBCCrew. Now he's joined by the Doggfather on his first solo single, "Puttin It Down". Now if you're wonderingabout young Bad Ass holding his own against the Doggfather, don't even trip, homie. Bad Ass has no suchproblems: "We keep a money move/Hate while we regulate/And get real papes rich like Bill Gates"While youmake it to the haters hall of fam/We'll be whuppin' Navigators/Winnin' this baller's game". Blessed by thetrunk-in-the-funk sounds of veteran producer DJ Pooh, "Puttin It Down" doest just that. It's the perfect jamto bump on those lazy off days that you spend dippin' in the streets with your lo-lo, Jeep or Lex.Once again it's been proven: Dogg Pound Gangstas make the world go' round. - Miguel Burke
