Whodini tribute time!
« on: February 26, 2008, 05:27:40 PM »
Since I basically don't listen to any new hip-hop that comes out these days (well, almost none of it, anyway), I find myself going back and listening to the stuff I actually grew up listening to.  Anyway, by chance, I came across my tape of Whodini's "Escape", and I actually searched through my place to find a tape player before putting it in.  And damn, this shit is still as classic as I remember it...we've all heard other rappers sampling "Five Minutes of Funk", "Friends", etc. to death, but this is where it all began.

So...here's a Rapidshare link:

Classic stuff indeed Freaks Come Out was dope! Former Whodini back up dancer JD tried to bring them back sometime in 96 but to no avail...
