He will get picked up by some team, it's only his 3rd year, and a solid team would be smart to pick him up and give him a limited role where he has to earn some playing time.
I got a bird's eye view

Boy, I wish I was a stupid fuck and just drafted on athleticism and not knowing how to play the game and win.

I always thought dude had crazy potential.  I watched him and Bynum at the Mcdonalds all American game the one year and those 2 were being touted as the "next big thing" going into the NBA.

Rarely anyone knows how to play the game in their first couple years out of high school...that's something that can be taught, though. Athleticism isn't.

Whats so hard to understand? Jefferson is a big man who will give you 20 points and 10 rebounds every night.

Gerald Green's sophomore year was better than Al Jefferson's...and Green was younger. There was a reason they were considered the future core of the Cetlics before they were traded.

You can't really expect a whole lot out of most high school dudes in their first few seasons, give him a few more years

The problem with him and Houston at this point is that Houston needs bigger bodies in the front court with injuries to Yao and now Landry.  If they could afford the roster spot they would have kept him.  Besides, where were his minutes going to come from?

His best bet is to go to Philly and have Larry Brown teach him the right way to play!
