Hey Dillinger and Gotti has gotten me pumped over dp right now people...i'm on my comp with dogg food, dillinger and gotti, raw, doggystyle, a couple dre bootlegs that have dp appearances, gang related,rr and get back,i would have kuruption her ebut it's wahck, i would have streetz iz a mutha but my brother scratched it awhile back oh and i got the chronic here too but it's scratched and no case/booklet so i'll have to buy the chronic for the FOURTH MUTHAFUCKIN TIME. anyway you guys know "Loc'd Out Hood" by Kurupt, produced By Daz and background vocals by Snoop and Daz? That is quite possibly the bets Kurupt track ever, that some Dogg Pound shit right there, in my opinion proves Kurupt as one of the best, shit name a track on fucking illmatic that is better than that shit..something on illmatic possibly can lyrically equal it but the flow and the beat?? Hell no. I think Kurupt's best tracks are
1.Loc'd Out Hood
2.Doggy Dogg World
3.For All My Niggaz and Bitchez
4.Stranded On Death Row
5.Lyrical GangBang
6.Ain't No Fun
7.Serial Killa
8.Bitchez Ain't Shit
9.What Would U Do
10.Dogg Pound Gangstaz
11.New York New York
12.Do What I Feel
13.A Doggz ay Afternoon
14.Reality
15.Puffin On Blunts....
16.Freestyle with Daz and Snoop over bitchez ain;'t shit beat
17.Got My Mind Made Up
18.Checkout Time
19.Hollywood Bank Robbery
20.Gang Bangin ass criminal
1.Initiated
2.It's A Set Up
3.First We Pray
4.On Tha Grind
5.R.A.W.
6.I Call Shots
7.Your Gyrlfriend
8.Callin Out Names
9.Neva Gonna Give It Up
10.Dipp With Me
11.We About To get Fucc Up
12.Best Run
13.My Heart Don't Pump No Fear
14.C-Walkin Cha Cha Cha
15.D.P.G.
16.Smooth
that would be my 2 disc quintessential kurupt
hey i gotta question..WHY THE FEEZNUCK IS "Trylogy" on Tha Streetz called "trylogy"
? anyone have any idea???
also I don't see why people are saying Daz fell off...i think i cna honestly say i've never heard a straight up whack beat by Daz,I can't ay that about dre(look, i'm not saying daz is better because it balances out because Dre has produced waaaaaaaaaaaayyyyy more than Daz AND i'm sure Daz and many others learn from the FEW mistakes that dre does make)
I think Jakedogg was right about dillinger and gottis beats, a perfect mix of raw,tha streetz,2001, and stankonia, the beats are what saved the incessant pussy songs, i seriously believe that if about 3 or 4 of those pimp tracks would have been taken off and either would have had some substance or some snoop/tray deee/nate/soopafly on there instead it would have been a classic but oh well still bangin ass shit, the first 3 songs are summer jams as it is (we libin gangsta like, dipp w me, coastin)
But Daz and Kurupt are still tight and they;ve grown in ways as artists
i think the best track?? it's between Dipp w/me(they al rip it and bangin ass beat),My heart don't pump no fear(BEAUTIFUl,slip capone and kurupt rips it,daz and mike do a dope beat and daz got a sweet chorus going with Charlie Wilson, classic track),and C-walkin cha cha(dope beat and chorus by daz, kurupt flows like a faucet)
My vote goes too my heart don't pump no fear but all 3 of those above and more on the album are classic tracks IMO, and Daz's mic skills surprise me again, I underestimated his skill on RAW and he ripped alot of that, and the same thing with this album...he was more consistent then Kurupt lyrically but when Kurupt is tight can't nobody fuck with him,not even '94 Nas,
Damn i love dogg pound,i still can't believe jakedogg said that Kurupt isn't one of the greatest, personally he's my fave but he's dropped 2 classics (dogg food, tha streetz) and is just one of the best mc's frickin ever but whatever, this is just my thinking...anybody else got thoughts on this dpg shit???
"It was the night i beat 2 thousand MC's/cuz ain't buthin fuckin with the dpg's"-Kurupt,New York New York,Dogg Food,Death Row/Interscope,1995

She tried, she only ran over some of 'em and then she forbade me from listening to gangsta rap and for a couple weeks i had no gangsta shit but then i found out that my dad saved the surviving cds for me and he gave 'em back to me and said that as long as my mom doesn't find out i can have ;em back so i have them hidden above and behind my closet. Also, my mom assumed that all of my cds were gangsta shit but she was mistaken so when i got my cds back from my dad i got the doc no once can do it better and nas illmatic back, and those aren;'t gangsta shit but i still couldn't let my mom know i had them because she would have been like "where'd you get those?" so when i heard about the new dpg coming out, i concocted a plan. When i go to buy the new dpg i will carry illmatic and no one can do it better with me in my pocket, so then i buy the dpg, and when i come back and my mom asks what i got i'll pull out no one can do it better and illmatic and say "i got these 2 used cds" Thus, knocking out 2 birds with one stone: I got the DPG to listen to when my mom ain't around AND now i can bump the doc and illmatic without being paranoid.Hehe,so next i'm going to use I want it all(not veyr gangsta) to get The Chronic for the FOURTH time, and then i'll figure out something to get tha streetz iz a mutha again, and i'm deciding if i should get the daz/jt albums...and hey is there any non-gangsta 2pac?
?I'm thinking me against the world??? then i'm gonna have to get aquemini soon too, damn that's what i get for jsut getting into rap in 99, i missed a BUNCHA shit....peace-Tanjint

Has to be Based on a True Story. I was listening to the Recipe and "Cavi Hit" wasn't on it.

The WWUD NBK version is from the Natural Born Killers soundtrack. its the same song, just has some differences in production and jewell isnt at the end. its tight tho.
Cavi Hit wasnt on any mack 10 album, Its from the Rhyme & Reason soundtrack.
