The Spurs are in Detroit for a game Friday night.

Bowen was suspended one game without pay for using his leg to hit New Orleans Hornets guard Chris Paul in a game Wednesday night. A foul was called on Paul in the third quarter and Bowen retaliated with his leg.

Bowen has played and started 500 straight games, the most in the league. That honor will go to Andre Miller, who has 431 consecutive games played and 430 consecutive starts.
