Second The economic stimulus package will not work because we are printing the money out of thin air further devaluing the dollar and creating inflation.

I think I heard somewhere that the money is just an advance on next year's tax return, which basically means you won't get those 600 dollars on that return.

While we're on the subject, you might find this article on so-called "Islamic economics" interesting:

If you knew anything about Libertarian politics, you would know that the fundamental principal that Libertarians stand for, is that they want each individual to live their life the way he or she wants to; not the way George Bush, Newt Gingrinch or any other politician wants them to.

Libertarians stand for small government, and the removal of government interference from our lives.  Therefore, which ever walk of life you choose, whether that be Islam, hip-hop, or Afrocentrism, or whatever, you are free to do so... and it is no business of the government.

Also, if a Jew feels passionately about Zionism, then in a Libertarian America he would have every right to send money to support the state of Israel.  However, he would not have the right to force you or I to send our hard earned money to support the state of Israel, which is what goes on now in America, our tax money is sent to support Israel's occupation of Palestine.

I do agree that the gov should not be getting in peoples lives, but there are just some things that we need gov to regulate, or to provid so that our country can function. If we were still a farm based country, than yes libertarian would be the way to go. Which is why even though Dems were the ones that provided agricultural subsidies, they vote Republican because in a open society more conservative fiscal way of life is better for people as a whole. But in urban more populated areas, more liberal social programs are the way to help people get an equal footing. Here is the thing, when Thomas Jefferson was laying down a more Libertarian view of society, he never could have imagioned the industral revolution, were as Alexander Hamliton saw it coming from a mile away, and was designing something that looks more like what we have now. Also remember that Jefferson was rich, Hamilton grew up poor, and that Jefferson was a very flakey. I SAID IT. His original draft of the constitution had a comment on England and how bad it was for them to introduce slavery in the United States, but he also died a slave owner. Jefferson was a great American, but one that best reflects this country today, as he was conflected, idolistic and his ideals never lived up to his reality.

Javier:
KBR would love to live in a Libertarian United States of America.
