I still pray that a depression does not occur but note, this was created by the federal reserves and the other central banks. They flooded the economy with trillions in cheap credit, the service sector which mainly consists of low paid jobs has been driven by this credit culture and now the taps have been turned off. The second major culprit is the outsourcing of value added jobs to India and China. You are absolutely right though that $600 isn't even 600 dollars, what can you do with it? it's been devalued to the point of no return. That is to say that the dollar is not going to rebound and many economists are suggesting it will never return now, indeed there is speculation that the dollar could hit zero. The only solace in all of this, is the blind, naive groups who took the money system and their wealth for granted, who believed everything that was said to them, might finally wake up and realise how this really works.

And why not? People buy it and vote for them, so they are going to keep on saying it. Voters want to hear easy quick-fix solutions. Reality will always take a back seat in politics.

Primo:
One Ron Paul is trying to pull an Abraham Lincoln and steal the delegates at the convention. Lincoln walked in with 20 delegates and won!

Second The economic stimulus package will not work because we are printing the money out of thin air further devaluing the dollar and creating inflation.
