I've loved this song ever since it came out, I never even knew they had a video.  Back in the day, less was more.  Rappers were just regular people doing regular things in their video.  Just at the Barbershop, barbeque, apartment complex, they even got Nation of Islam Muslims in the video selling their Final Call newspaper.  Man... the good old days
