Snoop Dogg/Battle cat

Tyrese will star in "Baby Boy" and also contribute vocals to "Just a Baby Boy," the lead track from the movie's Universal soundtrack, due June 12. Co-star Snoop Dogg and newcomer Mr. Tan also appear on the track, which was produced by Battle Cat (Brian McKnight, Faith Evans, Lucy Pearl).

I never knew battlecat has worked top name r&b cats as well.  did anyone else know he was that big?

HELL YEA, Battlecat worked with Lucy Pearl on the song "You".  I love that song, it was made into a single too.

That would be a great solution.  If Iran and the majority of Iraqi's are pleased with it, then why shouldn't they do it?

i know they got there funk from George...but they all had to of looked up to the Good Doctor...

Cat has been doing his thizzle for a minute tho, did u know it was BC who gave DJ Quik some of the drum sounds for Quik Is the Name? back in 91 they used to work together. im glad cat is gettin his due at last, hes dope.

and yea his music is inspired by Dre but which honest rap producers isnt, i know mine is. Cat has been using funk samples almost as long as Dre if u think back to 91 when dre first really using that shit a lot (yes i know he dabbled with it before).

yea battlecat been doin his thang 4 a while, although he was very quiet for a few years cos he was an alcaholic i think but then he came back n he came big

It all went like this...Quik got the drums off "Tonite" from Cat.  It wasn't "Quik is The Name".

Oh, and tommarow is the world premiere for that Snoop & Tyrese song @ MTV.  (Friday)

naw i meant the whole album quik is the name man. i remember quik talking about it on his show once, that battlecat gave him a lot of the drum sounds he used on that album.
