Tyrese will star in "Baby Boy" and also contribute vocals to "Just a Baby Boy," the lead track from the movie's Universal soundtrack, due June 12. Co-star Snoop Dogg and newcomer Mr. Tan also appear on the track, which was produced by Battle Cat (Brian McKnight, Faith Evans, Lucy Pearl).

Cat has been doing his thizzle for a minute tho, did u know it was BC who gave DJ Quik some of the drum sounds for Quik Is the Name? back in 91 they used to work together. im glad cat is gettin his due at last, hes dope.
and yea his music is inspired by Dre but which honest rap producers isnt, i know mine is. Cat has been using funk samples almost as long as Dre if u think back to 91 when dre first really using that shit a lot (yes i know he dabbled with it before).

It all went like this...Quik got the drums off "Tonite" from Cat. It wasn't "Quik is The Name".
Oh, and tommarow is the world premiere for that Snoop & Tyrese song @ MTV. (Friday)
