fat joe at rank 56 this week with 15,000 unit  damn he flopped bad

50 cent is prob laughing right now

but anyway damn sales sux bad right now

even flo rida = monster single low 3.3 million downloads

debut at 4th place with 85,891 damn



but what surprised me most was Gnarls Barkley

Gnarls Barkley's album leaked almost 2 weeks ago. They pushed the date up to stop heavy bootlegging. So the release was really not advertised much for the new date.

y'all call fat joe a flop?? man, he's doin good compared to people like pete rock and hi-tek...both sold like 10k in their first week, THAT's a flop!

fat joe is indy, right?  so he is getting a good kickback from these sales...better points than florida/most artists signed to a major are getting. joe could probably sell 200,000 and florida could go gold and joe would probably bank more $$ than him.

Mc Hammer sold millions of records, (so did vanilla ice) but that doesnt mean they had classic albums.Hell, i dont even think paid in full by eric b and rakim went platinum. sales used to be a good way to tell how many people were interested in the music but now and days, that isnt true anymore. More albums get downloaded than actually purchased.

No it isn't. Fat Joe had a radio single with J.Holiday, a street single with Weezy and decent promotion and only sold 46000 first week. Pete Rock and Hi-Tek have no singles and only internet promotion.
