What's the best rap DVD?
« on: March 28, 2008, 12:11:00 PM »
So, what do you consider the best rap DVD. Whether it's a concert, or just studio footage, it doesn't matter. Which one is your favorite?
Two of the best in my opinion are The Up In Smoke and Dj Quik's Visualism.

I think my favorite will always be "The Show".  It spotlighted Death Row, Wu-tang, Warren G, Biggie... all while they were in their PRIME!!!

And it had old school rappers offering their perspective, like Slick Rick interviewed in prison.

I really love and respect Russel Simmons for the work he does.

"Death Row Uncut" was very dope, but it should have all the Death Row videos. I have a DVD called "Tupac: The Complete Live Performances", it includes "Live At House Of Blues" (Pac, Snoop & DPG) & "Live At Club 662" (Pac & DPG) shows, one of my favourite "live show" DVD's, if you can get this, cop it. You won't be dissapointed.
"Hip Hop was better off when it was just Dre, Scarface, and Esco"
