Yeah, this one is much better because Game's slow flow is more cohesive with this slower beat. The original has a banging, uptempo vibe but Game rapped to slow with his 3 seconds pauses after every bar or two

The beat is off the hook, but the problem with this remix is that the beat is off.

^^^^Yeah, I was thinking the same thing.
My guess is that Komplex had already made this beat before Game released "Big Dreams". Komplex was probably waiting on Game's single to be released, only to then simply add his beat under Game's vocals.

From what I know, creating beats can be done two ways:

1) The producer listens to the artist and asks him what kind of beat he wants (slow, uptempo, alternating rhythms, etc...) and makes a beat while keeping into account the artist's preferences
2) The producer creates some beats on his own, lets his artist listen to them, and then the artist writes his rhymes to the beat.

Adding vocals from an already existing song to an already existing beat doesn't always work, and I think this Komplex beat clearly illustrates that.

I like the beat too, but like Smegma pointed out...it doesn't really match the rhythm.
I'll bump it anyways though. I like both versions

Ok guys i listened to it many times...Some of you pointed out that game pauses after each line. True. but for some reason the Komplex track seems TOO laid back, where as on the original, although Game's flow is laid back, he has that aggressiveness that is reflected by the horns and the lady screaming in the back ground.

I do find that the Komplex version has an interesting concept to it and as the homie CRAFTY said, i will bump both versions...but i find that Komplex shouldn't have put some of those majors chords on the few last lines of the verse before the hook comes in.

and just for the record, no I'm not Hating on Komplex lol.
