Dude, 'Pac was just Interscope... lets do a timeline'Pac is on Same Song in 1991 with Digital Underground on Tommy Boy.Interscope is started in 1990 by Jimmy Iovine, Ted Field, and Tom Whalley on the strength of commercial hit Rico Suave, in 1991 they signed 2Pac.'Pac always wanted his own label, and would put a label name he wanted on his CDs, when Makaveli came out it was suppose to be on Makaveli/Death Row/Interscope Records.Death Row Records is founded in 1991, Interscope Iovine financially assisted them in 1992.'Pac started Outta Da Gutta for Thug Life and himself, during this time Death Row was trying to sign him, and even listed him as a Death Row artist in the OG books of Above the Rim in 1994.'Pac signs with Death Row in 1995, got out of jail and recorded All Eyez On Me.'Pac begins talking of starting Makaveli Records with the Outlawz as his artist.'Pac dies in 1996, Death Row releases Makaveli and 'Pac's mom sues Death Row over his material.'Pac's mom gains complete control with his works pre-Death Row and re-releases 2Pac's work on Amura/Jive with Interscope distribution, and later just Amura/Interscope, she still has to work with Death Row with work he recorded there, hence some albums are Amura/Death Row/ Interscope.ANY QUESTIONS?
