Went to the premier last night, the movie was pretty damn intense. I didn't know anything about Watchmen before going, but this ain't no Spider Man I'll tell you that. Movie is hella graphic! The action scenes were crazy too. Only thing was that it was TOO DAMN LONG. Some scenes went on forever...

BTW: You might want to turn your head everytime Dr Manhattan is on screen!

Yeah Im going to try and go this weekend.  Thanks for the heads up about Doc Manhattan.  I don't want to see any swinging sirloin!

I don't see how they could make this movie bad. Definitely planning to check it out.

there are a few things missing from the comics, but nothing that really takes away from the overall story. can't really say much without giving spoilers i guess

Is his Slow Mo really that bad? I saw the scene where Ozymandias fights the assasin and I cannot see how that scene can filmed properly with out using slow mo. I don't know, maybe he over does it through out the film. I'll wait and see.

There were some clips that were released a couple of weeks ago, and every scene had some usage of slow motion.

Rorchach (sp?)... was well cast
been rockin' longer than niggas twice my age
back in the days before Bob Marley was rockin' a fade
before Honest Abe signed the paper that freed slaves
before Neanderthals was drawing on walls in caves
I existed, in the garden of Eden gettin' lifted
stickin' dick to Eve before she was Adam's mistress
before Christ created Christmas, I been in lyrical fitness

I liked it, but to me it could have been better.  Not disappointed, but not Woah either.  Worth buying on bluray though:)  I think it may grow on me after another viewing.
