I mean your intention is right, but you need to fix your stuff. Espcially those "whines" or "funk leads" u try to do are kinda weird you know? You got some good sounds though. U remade some good basses, although they are stolen. Keep doin whatcha do and practise that.

I think your beats are dope. Especially "Last Song" and "Smooth". I hope you keep at it because music like this just isn't made anymore.

By the way, what do you use to replicate that G-funk whine?

i use a motif keyboard, it has a lotta dope sounds. some new some old. im tryin to get a minimoog tho, if you youtube "minimoog" you will see some guy demostrate it and u hear about 3 or 4 dj quik songs right off the bat

So that g-funk whine sound already came as preset on your keyboard? I need to cop one of them.  Thanks for the knowledge.

some of the sounds are on the keyboard, but the ones ur probably really want are from an old minimoog and i think the older tritons. also i think dre used filters and used different effects on them. not 100% sure but thats what i remember
