Black N' Dangerous is a V town classic as the same level as a E-40, back in the days, but the best album from vallejo is  incontestably Playaz Tryna Strive - All frames of The Game with t pup and filthy rich who kiled all that shit ! daaamn ! the duo is fuckin awesome ! at the same level as a havoc and prodeje, tripp locc and wayniac, Dig and Quint of UDI.

Yeah, I definately remember Young Lay. "Black & Dangerous" was dope. "Unsolved Mysteries" I don't remember all that well, but I still play "Got 2 Survive" some years later.

And whatever happened to Mac Mall? I haven't heard anything new from him for years.

Lathan Williams (born 1975), better known by his stage name, Young Lay, is a San Francisco Bay Area based gangsta rapper from Vallejo, California. He has worked with artists such as Tupac Shakur and Mac Dre, and is recently known as the father of Le-Zhan Williams, a boy who was raised by his abductors after they killed his mother and set fire to the house.

Young Lay, coming from Vallejo made two albums. His first album, Black and Dangerous, was released in 1996. His second album,Unsolved Mysteries, was released in 1998. In 1996 Young Lay's son was kiddnapped.

is his daugther alive?
why did they kidnap her?

I think you mean son... he was kidnapped by some girls who were jealous of the mom because she was with Young Lay. They shot and killer her and set the house on fire.

"Le-Zhan Williams case abstract: In May 1996 Le-Zhan Williams was taken from his Vallejo, California home at 3-weeks old when his 17-year old mother, Daphne Boyden, was shot and burned to death by two 15-year old fellow high school students. Le-Zhan's father is rapper, “Young Lay”, who's done work with TuPac and other notable rappers. When police and FBI efforts were not enough, godmother to Le-Zhan, JESSICA KNOX, infiltrated the community to help find Le-Zhan herself. She also used her art on greeting cards to raise awareness of the search. 6 years later, Le-Zhan was found in December 2002 living just 2-miles away."

I think Young Lay is currently in prison.
