Celtics were LUCKY Detroit wasn't close to 100%
« on: May 30, 2008, 08:14:20 PM »
If Rip and Billups were even playing at 75% this series would of been over a long time ago.  I was wrong about Laker-Spurs,    Laker's were just flat out younger and better point blank but Detroit is definitely better than Boston,  just to bad they are to banged up.

Laker's will destroy Boston, maybe a sweep but Boston will most likely be able to get lucky and win one.  I could care less about this match up but Kobe and the Laker's are going to have their way w/ Boston.

Oh and Flip has to be as bad as a playoff coach as their is,  even worse then Doc Rivers :-X

The Celtics had the pleasure of playing us twice early in the season when they were hungry and dominating the league. They haven't had to play us since we've had Gasol. If Pau can stand his own and prevail against Duncan, Garnett won't be much of a challenge.

some people may have doubted you all season.... but very few believed in us. you can go back to the threads here in December where we were expected by many to falter in January. We are coming full force and taking this.

^for real, every time boston even smells a W, most (not all) lakers fans chalk it up to luck :-\   man up and tell it how it is...

(this isnt directed at anyone in particular)

Yeah I am a die-hard Pacer fan ;D    and root for the Kings very hard also

I admit I was wrong about WCF,   I was also being a hater when I said Spurs deserved to win game 4,  that was complete bs on my part.  Lakers are a great team and Boston has no chance.
