      In New York yesterday afternoon, The Game told HipHopDX about the two week push-back of his projected magnum-opus L.A.X. After the label confirmed a new date yesterday morning [click to read], the Compton rapper explained the reasoning and forces behind the move.

"[Interscope/Geffen/A&M President] Jimmy Iovine slammed the gavel. We was supposed to go on [July] 8th, but at this point, I really don't give a fu*k when the album comes out. 'Cause a week later, two weeks later, a month later, people [are] gonna wait on L.A.X. 'cause it's probably the biggest record of the year. When it comes, it comes. Every time they push it back, I make sure to let everybody know," said The Game sitting at a desk in the Geffen Records offices.

In trademark cockiness, the rapper who has previously released The Documentary [click to read] and The Doctor's Advocate [click to read] previously, said of his third, "If you go the store on [July] 8th, and it's not there, they'll tell you it'll be there in two weeks. We'll get it all figured out. July 22nd is the new date, and it's a date that I'm not runnin' from. If you've got an artist or you know somebody droppin' on that date, push that sh*t back 'cause it's not gonna do what you think it's gonna do."

The Game went on justify his bull market value, "I'm a force to be reckoned with in Hip Hop, everybody knows that. I'm a west coast rapper that gets love on the east coast; you'd think I was born in Brooklyn, they love me that much - or The Bronx, Queens. And when I go back home, I'm the sh*t. Once I figure out how to lock the south all the way, I think I can go diamond."

After a pause and a smile, the rapper shifted his red Washington Nationals cap and added with a smirk, "But I'm retiring, so maybe I'll have a dream about that."

WHy are albums getting pushed back these days eveyr fucking week its annnoying. The music industry aint realyhelping matter on people not buying cds.  I was gonna get bored of this and the record will leak and i will download it and forget to go buy it.

Shit like this dint happen in the 90s when they were actualy making money of cds so why is it happening now.
