I don't hate him, but I hate his music. I've said this many times, I liked Country Grammer (the single) and was looking forward to hearing more from him but once his album hit and I heard a few more singles it was just recycled versions of Country Grammer and for me to even want to cop a record I wanna hear atleast an attempt at creativity and originality, and he just doesn't pack those things in his music imo. He has made some good party tracks, but I personally don't buy many party albums for personal listening.

yea i bought nellys first CD and it will be the last one i ever buy of him. he is aiight better then some commerical rappers but i dont care for him that much. and i gotta go with what blade was saying....i got this white homie who loves rap...well...commerical rap. and he st8 up thinks that nelly is real hip hop and tha best rapper out there. and i just sit there and look at him like, wtf dude lol

Yeah pretty much, I dont like his music at all but i dont hate tha man.  I only hate tha fact that a lot of ppl [atleast around my area] think Nelly is REAL hip hop, n that kinda pisses me off when they aint heard 3% of what real rap is and claim to be hip hop heads or sumting.  And like you said, a lotta ppl just hate on him cuz of the next guy...which is fuked up..But as I said, I dont hate the man, its not like he claims thug life, m.o.b n gangsta [unlike ja rule] ...
