i actually never realised why so many people hated nelly wen he released singles like 'Hot Shit,' 'EI' and 'Ride Wit' Me' cos i actually like them singles, but batter up was pretty shite. i have to say that his new single 'hot in here' is just terrible tho...even tho every1 else i know likes it...but his first album was alright if u ask me!

and? he's shit cos he's pop? cum on son u gotta do better than that, cos it don't take a man to admit that at 1 poiny in ur life u have actually found sum kind of pop related song dop...cos i know i have. so u can't just say nelly is pop he is shit, giv us a proper reason as to why u don't like him...

On The Edge of Insanity:
The reason I don't like Nelly is because his sound is very pop orientated, and not only that but almost all of the singles off of his first album sounded practically the same, there is just no variety going on there.

Also, there are people who think that Nelly is real hiphop. I mean I got a friend who loves Nelly, and when I told him about the beef between Krs-One and Nelly, he said that he thought Nelly would win a freestyle contest between the two of them. LOL!!, I can't even see Nelly freestyling, let alone beating an MC legend in a freestyle battle.

Finally, if I want party tracks then I will listen to Tha Liks, or some other group which actually realises that just because you are making party tracks doesn't mean that you have to let go of any lyrical content that may go into a song.

I personally respected Nelly alot more b4 he started doin shit wit N'Sync and Justin Timberlake and shit....after that I lost all respect for Nelly! I cant deny I did cop his first album and it did have a couple of hot party tracks wit catchy hooks. I d/l his new shit "Nellyville" and tha only track that I can say get plays by me ever once in a while is "Air Force Ones". Its not that bad to be Nelly! I will personally never buy a Nelly album ever again!
