"Brooklyn's Finest" is a great song, but the beat wasn't anything special, but to me every duet I listed had the best beats and the lyrics to match, which to me makes them better or in some cases equal duets.
The beat was indeed special. I bumped the track almost daily for 6 months after copping RD. I wouldn't have done that if the beat wasn't addictive. "Brooklyn's Finest" is the best hip-hop duet beat- and lyric-wise, in my opinion. It's all opinions, but don't say the "Brooklyn's Finest" beat was nothing special... because (with all due respect) that's straight BS.Peace
any1 that tries to downplay what a great song brooklyn's finest is, is a hater. I dont know if i would call it tha greatest duo of all-time but it is up there
but u like everything jayz does so u got a biased opinion.....not a hater...we just got different opinions...dont be scared of what u dont agree with

Aight really we talking about EASTCOAST songs here... at least "Brooklyns Finest" was the best eastcoast duet in history. I don't think you all can front on that.
nah, Nas an Az- Lifes a bitch. Many consider Az's verse to be one of tha best ever
Another tight duet.....Just Rhymin With Biz- Kane & BizPersonally, i feel Life's a Bitch to be a much better song....three incredible verses, and one of the best songs of of one of the best albums ever. Brooklyn's Finest is great, but it never had the impact when it came out that Life's a Bitch did......only in the last couple years since young cats been buyin the rerelease of RD have they got all on this song, and that album.KVB- I know what you mean, cuz Big and Jay had tight chemistry, evident in I love the Dough also.
"life's a bitch" is mos def a classic, and prolly one of nas's illest tracks, also prolly one of the greatest tracks ever, but as for duets, as KVB said, JIGga and BIG had mad chemistry, plus the track had more verses-it felt more like a duo, so it really was better as a duet, "life's a bitch" had two verses( not that it makes it any less of a song, but it takes from it as from a duet....imo it din't feel much as a duet, i dunno how to explain it).
