Multi-Platinum and Award Winning Hip-Hop Superstar Ice Cube makes his highly anticipated return to the mic with the debut of his eighth solo LP, titled "Raw Footage". Following the 2006 release of the critically acclaimed, "Laugh Now, Cry Later", which debuted at #2 on the R&B/Hip Hop sales chart and #4 on the Top 200 sales chart, making it the years highest selling independent release in hip hop, the West Coast’s Greatest Rap Lyrist is back again.

Raw Footage which will be released by Ice Cube’s independently owned label, Lench Mob Records, will hit shelves and online on August 19th.

Boasting production from producers such as Maestro, Emile, DJ Crazy Toones, Teak “Da Beatsmith” Underdue and Dee Underdue and featuring guests Musiq Soulchild, Young Jeezy, The Game and WC, Cube looks to continue his reign as rap’s heavy weight champion, showcasing his creative and lyrical genius throughout 17 solid tracks.

With the streets already talking about the earlier released buzz single & video “Gangsta Rap Made Me Do It,” which MTV boasted as the first great song and video of 2008, Cube follows up with the album’s first official single and video, “Do Ya Thang.”

Ice Cube - Do Ya Thang [Video]

Following its debut as at the #1 most added record at rhythmic radio recently, the certified banger produced by Palumbo Beats made its video debut on icecube.com. Directed by Dale "Rage" Resteghini, the video perfectly paints Cube’s message about “doing your thing and not worrying about who’s looking,” blending cool summer scenes with new sports cars and signature West Coast low riders.

As he readies for the highly anticipated release of Raw Footage, Cube will kick off an International tour on July 11th in Leipzig, Germany for 11 dates which will lead into his US tour starting on August 21st in Seattle and ending on September 21st in New York City.

Probably went back and knocked a couple more songs out. One of them had to be the one with Game and WC. That was not on the original tracklisting. I will cringe when I 1st hear the Jeezy track. I hope it is cool.

Actually if one were to go back to an MTV report back in '06 before LNCL was released you'd see that Young Jeezy and Juvenile were supposed to be featured on that album.

I believe Jeezy, as much as I dislike him, has been talking some real shit lately about how he is gonna be speaking about real topics on his forthcoming album-The Recession.  He was saying how he can't be talking about cars, jewelry, boats, mansions, etc.  when everybody is suffering from this stagflation.  In other words, the Cube/Jeezy track might be something different than expected.

Only time will tell though.

been on alot of songs with legends if u think about it, except Eazy, Pac, Ren and things like that.

and i dont know if that song with JayZ and Dre was a real studio track or just some mix shit.

other then that, Dre, Nas, WC, Cube (now), Snoop, DPG, Quik (was even his DJ back in the day), MC Eiht, Nate, Bone Thugs and said
that King T, Yella and them gave him love so he been gettin love.

Funny how he gets so much love from legends but these new niggas stay dissin him..

My bad a lil off topic lol...

But to Laconic:

Trust me thats just promotion..believe me..even IF he says something it'll be some lines here and there that most of us have heard already..

Because Jeezy is not talented like that.

And i think the reason he on this album is cuz hes starrin in a new Cube movie
