Guillen is a common last name. If you were watching the game, don't you think they would make a big deal about brothers facing each other? Most of the time Stephen Drew came up to bat, Scully would talk about his brothers Tim and JD, so I'm sure the Royals announcers would be no different. Jose Guillen doesn't even have a .300 OBP, if I was a fan I would still be pissed about the signing. David DeJesus is doing much much better than Guillen.

David DeJesus is doing much much better than Guillen.Guillen is doing exactly what the Royals signed him to do. He is providing a big bat, power, and run production. He leads the team in power numbers, home runs, RBI's, leads AL in doubles. He's on pace to easily surpass 20+ homeruns and 100+ RBI's.And your right, Dejesus may be playing slightly better over-all but that doesn't mean Guillen hasn't been giving the Royals what they paid for.And I'm surprised you mentioned Dejesus... because the real surprise for the Royals is rookie shortstop Mike Avilles who was player of the week last week and is hitting over .340, with some power too. This guy spent 6 years in the minors and now he may be rookie of the year and compete for a batting title if he reaches the number of at bats required.
