Week 2: Raiders vs. Chiefs thread

Alot of West Coast cats here at the forum so I figured I could make a thread for the game. 

Chiefs will win this game.  Raiders are aweful again this year as they proved in week 1.  While the Chiefs may be a little better than we thought as they pushed the Patriots to the brink last Sunday.  Also, Damon Huard will be the starting quarterback this week for the Chiefs, which makes the Chiefs a far better team than when Brodie is in there.  Damon defeated the Raiders last year (while Brodie lost).   So that's my prediction...

Not with Damon at quarterback.  Brodie is out for 2-4 weeks, so it should be a nice couple of weeks ahead for the Chiefs.  I'm not saying that Damon Huard is amazing or anything, but he is a very serviceable back-up in this league; while Brodie on the other hand wouldn't even start if he was playing at MU, KU, or KState; lol.  They had a call-in sportstalk show her in Kansas City and they asked callers if they would play Brodie over this years starting at local colleges like MU, KU, and KState... and unanimously the callers said they wouldn't even start him over the three college quarterbacks!  LOL.  Brodie wouldn't even make it in the CFL.  Only Hermie and Dick Curl actually believe in this guy.

they HAD a team, but slowly but surely they lost that along with the leadership Gruden brought. you watch the raiders , you might as well be watching street ball or something. the only one who HAD "it" was Ryan, but after that fucking disgrace of a game on monday........all hope is gone like Slipknot said.

Raiders got BLOWN out by the Broncos last week, so Chiefs getting shown up at home is sad.

i knew the raiders would win that one. didn't know it was going to be THAT easy but i knew it.


i don't think we should sleep on the broncos though......they're currently up 14-3 on the chargers....the team we almost all picked to go to the superbowl.

I don't know what exactly happened, supposedly Damon was "dinged up", whatever the hell "dinged up" means.  This game really displayed Herm's incompetence... how bad does a team have to be to lose 23-8 at home against a Raiders team that was an inch from firing their head coach?
