Soopafly is my fav rapper. I agree with the comment on how you can compare Quik with Fly (except def Quik is know a lot more). Both are really complete MCs....Both rap, write, Produce you name it. I think Fly spits a lil better than Quik even though hes more know for his production.

But yeah, last 2 years Fly has been an integral part in the West Coast.

When I first heard that Snoop has put together two new groups (WU and Warzone) I didn't think much would eventuate from it, But to WU credit, they kept the ball rolling for that 'Hat 2 tha bacc' single (Where snoop should be credited for rolling with this track as a single and not a Warzone/solo track). Managed to drop a mixtape which got hype, and now an album which isn't getting its shine, but hey thats what happens when you drop an album with Kotch records (most of the time).

But I think the point for Dubb Union grouping up, is so that they could get buzz, then go on and push thier solo joints/deals etc. Good networking, and all can bulid on the move.

But the comments about Snoop being Jealous of fly, come on, if that were the case Snoop would drop him from his label, stop fucking with him all together, not tour, not put together groups/ make tracks etc etc....remember with the amount of Producers Snoop has access to and the number of records that can fit on an album, you can't have everyone on all of them...

I mean imagine if Snoop had all his producer on an album that he collabs with...Soopafly, Daz, Jelly Roll, Fredwreck, Battlecat, Neptunes, Terrace Martin, JR Rottem, Meech Wells, Dj Quik, Timbaland, LT Hutton, Dr Dre etc etc....can't fit them all on every album lol....be realistic...

Oh and for the record, you can't compare Soopafly to Ice cube, Game etc etc...totally different artists with different strenghts/weaknesses. Biggie said it the best, when he said a rapper, who also produces gotta respect that!

I agree with your first part, Soopafly is my favorite rapper too, and he's better than Quik and he's an integral part of the westcoast.

Now, secondly, here is why Snoop doesn't want to drop him from his label.  If he dropped Fly, Fly would go produce for some of Snoop's biggest competitors, like 50 cent, Game, Ice Cube, etc.  Snoop's sales would plummet.  Plus, Snoop knows that Fly produces the best tracks for him out of any of his in-house producers.  So Snoop would rather pay Soopafly to do nothing in order to keep him from going somewhere else.

Snoop shoulda gotten him exposed around the time he first debuted on Doggfather.
he woulda had a more complete fan base. even his first album wasn't released properly.

Soopafly should've rapped on "Who Got Some Gangsta Shit", that was his first beat on Death Row. It's a classic DPGC cut.

Damn soopafly did that????

See, that's what i've been telling everyone.  Soopafly is a west coast vet, he's been in the game a long time and produced so many classics I can't even count them all.  People need to start studying up on this Man and they too will find out how great he really is.

Soopafly is a great producer but Daz still owns him because he has far more classics under his belt and more longevity in the industry. But Soopafly is not far behind. Truth be told!

Please list all the Daz songs you consider to be "classics" so I can get an idea where you are coming from.

I have already stated that I do not have that much time to discuss EVERY last Daz Dillinger track. But here is a few songs he had almost everything to do with, some of the most monumental records in music history.

2Pac - Ambitionz Az A Ridah
2Pac - Skandalous
2Pac - Got My Mind Made Up
2Pac - I Ain't Mad At Cha
Snoop Dogg - All of Doggystyle
Tha Dogg Pound - 99.9% of Dogg Food

Now this confirms this is a very bad joke...you could say that Suge had huge impact in 70% of Death Row songs because he was inside the studio.
What about actual Daz solo songs? Soopafly DPGC can come up with 150 soopafly songs and rate them, you have already lost this battle.

Haha, so out of all of Daz's "classics", you could only think of 4 songs off the top of your head?  Hate to tell you, but 2Pac was what made all those songs famous, NOT Daz lol.

And Daz produced all of Doggystyle??  Wow, I didn't know that, some strange world you live in.  And Daz produced 99.9% of the Dogg Food album too?  You better re-check your liner notes there.

I agree with Booz, how about some actual Daz songs that are classics?  If they really are classics, you should be able to rattle off at least 30 off the top of your head.  You are a poor excuse for a Daz fan.
