na, he hadnt pitched in a while..plus, hes not that sharp in non-save situations..been like that all year.  in a save situation, theres no one in our pen that i trust more than saito.

I don't know man, hasn't been too long since he's thrown, come to think of it he was shaky in San Francisco last week

tonight his pitches weren't doing shit, he was throwing letter-high cutters without the cut.... high 80's, barely in the 90's

he got hammered for like 2 doubles and a hard single and didn't even record an out

also Broxton was unsettling as well, every god damn time he comes in he's throwing balls and puts guys on base

ya, that game ur talkin out, when he lost it on 3 hits, it wasnt a save situation..it was 0-0 i the 11th...but a couple days later, he shut down the giants for his 18th save.  we won that game 2-1 lol

i have full confidence that when his time comes to get us a save, he will be lights out...but the way our bats are hitting, we wont need anyone to save the game for us.  :D  :bandit:

its sad too - wrigley is the best place to see a game now that yankee stadiums dead
