Weekend Of Live Music For The "Celebration Of Life" Event - October 11, 2008 By : Rud



Later this month an event by the Justice For Murdered Children (JFMC) will take place in California. The group that was founded in 1996 by LaWanda Hawkins when her only child, Reggie was murdered, support victims and seek to educate the youth about violence and the effects it can have on families and the wider community.

The "Celebration of Life" event is a three day festival of live music held on October 24, 25 & 26 at the Ports O'Call Village, Berth 77-Parking Lot, San Pedro, CA in conjunction with JT Tha Bigga Figga.

Performers signed up include Warren G, Jayo Felony, RBX, Bo Rocc & 2 Scoops (Dove Shack), Tha Outlawz, San Quinn, Tha Chill, Big Syke & Macadoshis (Thug Life), Squeek Ru, Kam, Trip Loc, Yung Bruh, Hood Surgeon, Bad Azz, Glasses Malone, Bad Lucc, Big Steele, Dresta, King T, Butch Cassidy, Boss Hogg, Cavie and countless more. The 50 acts will be serving up live music across the weekend to help raise money for the Justice For Murdered Children campaign.
