Some of them are starting to really get their respect outside of Detroit. AllHipHop.com did a special piece on Detroit not too long ago. It slightly inspired my post. LMFAO.

Elzhi fersure. Euro Pass was off the hizzle!! Plus all his work on slum village, to the guest appearence he's done on other albums ( Little Brothers Minstrel Show to J dilla 's Welcome to Detroit)

LOL, Em? Garbage??? ok, yes, he's put out some whack verses (ie; pistol poppin by Ca$his), but you honestly would sum up the last 2 or 3 years of his career as Garbage??? get the fuck outta here.....

Remember folks, the best is in the mind of the beholder......

and Guilty Simpson, all be it, a talented dude, has never really impressed me as much as Royce or Em.....

The best rapper in Detroit, is probably a 16 year old kid who hasn't even dropped an EP yet.....

but for the sake of arguement, I'd have to go with Eminem, then Royce....
No one else in Detroit, let alone much of anywhere else, has consistantly tested the boundaries of Word Play and lyricism, and though simplistic, Em's instrumentals always get you moving.....
