At the end of last month we unleashed some new funky music from Kokane and Meech Wells with the exclusive download of a brand new track entitled Dr. Kokanstein: Come Funk With Me.

The track heralded the arrival of some fresh new funk from these two and as Kokane told Dubcnn; "This is the funkiest sh-t you ever heard since Parliament-Funkadelic… you feel me? Everybody has [been] trying to emulate the sound, but we were born into it."


Today we have another new track from the duo, another Kokane solo cut over a Meech Wells production. "Hoodstar" is set to appear on the next installment of "The New West World Order" - Volume 4 in the set of street albums from Meech Wells and the In A Zone Production camp.

The track, which can be downloaded or streamed via the link below is sure to leave fans satisfied and also curious about the direction of "The New West World Order: Volume 4" that is set to be available in December.
