Amare was guarding the 4...this is how I know you didn't watch the game, or at least wasn't paying attention.

i had a long ass , thought out response...then the board woiuldn't let me post it....but watching and even REWATCHING that game. I still stand by the notion that shaq won that match up with out a doubt. Bynum was minimalized out there and got into foul trouble....something that has more weight than 1 or -1 points, while shaq just simply did his thang.

Shaq at any age> Bynum to this point.

No doubt Shaq attacked Bynum more. Actually he went 11 times in isolation in the post against him in less than 15 minutes, some crazy shit. He was running offence for the Suns, no doubt. And no doubt he's still a big factor. He's making his career look even better this season, and i'm extremely happy for him. But he scored just 5 points in those 11 situations. And Bynum's first foul was called on him with 6 minutes left in the 2nd quarter. I think Bynum stopped him pretty well. "Pretty" well, cause when Shaq wants to play (and he was motivated enought) you can't stop some of his movements. You don't even stand a chance. But overall Bynum played well, outrebounding him, grabbing a pair of offensive rebounds on him, forcing him to make a pair of turn-overs, putting his hands on him forcing him to miss 3-4 shots. Don't understimate what he did. Then he sent him to the line 2 times fouling him, ok. But sometimes, like i said, that's the only thing you can do to block a force of nature like Shaq.

Shaq NOW > Bynum NOW is a statement i can understand (i mean i won't diss you if you write it). But i still go with Andrew.

Shaq made 8 points out of 15 when Bynum wasn't even on the floor, man. And he grabbed 8 rebounds out of 9 too. C'mon now :)

How did he get the best of Bynum? LMAO...I'm still waiting for your reasoning behind that...Lakers won and Bynum had the better line. Try making sense of what you're claiming.

That said, Shaq is lookin better than he has the past couple years...definitely not "elite", but he's playing his part...the question is, can he keep it up for a whole season? well have to wait and see.

1. yes the lakers won, the lakers are a better team
2. Bynum didn't have a better line than shaq. Shaq had 15 to bynum's 10. Shaq had 9 rebs to bynums 7. shaq had bynum in foul trouble. Phil benched Bynym.  bynum wasn't even a factor when shaq was on the floor, most of those stats came while shaq was on the bench, watch the game again, bynum couldn't do anything against shaq.

I did. And you're wrong.

Bynum wasn't doing anything on shaq, he had one shot on him, the rest were on Amare's soft ass. Also defensively all Bynum could do was foul Shaq. So to say Bynum had the best of Shaq is absurd. good defense doesn't equal hack-a-shaq, good defense equals stopping shaq from penetrating the paint, which bynum did not do. He let shaq penetrate the middle and got himself in foul trouble trying to stop him.

bynum, realistically should be in college right now. give him a FULL year at the very least before any judgments are made. just a quick question though...if you were building a team now,who would you go with Shaq or Bynum?

if you're building, Bynum for sure, shaq's got like what 1 maybe 2 years left in him. If you're already in contention and need a big....shaq.

this is ridiculous. if Shaq was on the Lakers instead of Bynum right now, we wouldn't be 12-1.
