The idea is real. Dre isn't a big factor in rap music any more, with all the respect. Noone really cares for what he does other than some pathetic groupieson this forum. He's just a lazy dude - it's ridiculous it takes 10 years to come out with an album. He made The Chronic, 2001. and all those NWA albums in less than a year each, and suddenly he can't handle more than 1 project?... Come on, now. Dre just isn't rellevant. He's scared he's gonna flop big time, because the truth is that all the beats he's done the last few years have been weak, predictable, waaay too simple and just unoriginal. So yeah, he made some great tracks but in the last 5 years he's been just a name, and not a factor.

detox wont come out, coz the album will be weak, and if it does, the album, the album will be weak, and it will fail.
honestly, i wish it will be a dope album, and does see the light of day, but the most likelyhood is that it wont be.
dre wont be able to live up to the hype that people have made for him, therefore he wont release another album.
i think dre will stick to the business side, behind the scenes as a CEO of aftermath, and eventually try to become president of interscope one day.
releasing a wack album, could hurt his career in all sorts of ways to do with the music industry, and that includes both musicwise and businesswise.
