Tell that to the football fans in Miami. 1-15 to 11-5 because new coaches brought in a new direction. It would have been tougher with out a vet QB but my guess is if Chad wasn't coming someone would have been available. They just needed a guy that knew to throw the ball away when the open man wasn't easy to find. Not a knock against Chad. I really like him. But you put him on last year's team and they'd still be last in the league.

true, but Dolphins made a lot of key additions in the off-season..maybe not 1 BIG player, but multiple players which were an upgrade.

And you think the Lions won't. First they have the draft picks. Then they have the free agents popping up and Shanahan and Romeo would find the type of guys they work best with. The Detroit Lions are not going to look like the same team next year regardless of who coaches them. You don't go 0-16 one year and keep the same team the next year.

mistake by Denver. They are a run 1st team and 7 injured RB's is what hurt them, not Mike's coaching

Fisher got rid of a good qb in Volek so that might be why he was left off the list.  But anytime bad stuff happens 2 the Donkeys is great 4 me but honestly, I feel that Shanahan should just be stripped of the total control.  Nobody wins with total control anymore.  But I heard that why he might have been fired.  It benefited Holmgren.  Just coach.  Shanahan messed up trading Portis, shoulda paid him what he deserved, then concentrate on the defense in the draft.
