The West is The West . . . POINT BLANK.
If you dont want to see an MC in chucks, sporting a rag, or rapping about weed and gang violence' than what are you doing on a West Coast site????  It's a huge part of the culture.  Much like grills, 84, and so on are in the South.  Its just part of the culture.  Most of you are caught up on a mixtape cover or critiquing the tracklisting to even give an up and coming MC a listen. . . That's why the West is dead!!!!.

If you rather listen to MC's in tight pants with tight shirts rapping about heartaches and breakups then your probably in the wrong forum.

To each his own.

WEST WEST

Its just that the ora (sp?) of this guy is so unappealing.  Silkk Calone (it sounds like he got his name rapping in the stock room at Macy's).  And yeah grillz & 84'z is apart of southern culture but not everybody checks that shit out like u think, and its usually appealing bcuz they use it in a reallly catchy way and they have a tight beat behind it.  I mean why should I pick up a Silkk Calone (lol) cd?  wat makes his shit different from 1000% of the other Westside rappers or MC's period?  Thats a goofy ass name dogg and a queer ass cover.  I know ppl on Dubb hate waaaay tooo fuckin much (trust me, check my post- I'm always defending the real and some of the fake shit) but a nigga named Silkk Calone is not about to get play in my ride.  I mean how would it sound if he was on Detox?   Dr. Dre feat. Silkk Calone & Young Hootie... I know as a Dr. Dre condensuer, I would be skeptical of this track and I wouldn't have to hear it.  Do watcha' do homey and more power to you, but you niggaz need to re-arrange your whole marketing strategy.  The Hip Hop games future will be like WestCoast Hip Hop now if ya'll keep promoting gangbangers and chucks and not trying to elevate it.  I'm all about reppin my shit and bein' real but ya'll niggaz wanna ever stop bein' local then homey like I said- Rework your image.

How many times are niggaz gonna remake the same song with the same beats and expect niggaz to pick it up (hip hop in general).  If I wanna hear some new gangsta shit I'll pop on a Rich Boy album or check out some other shit.  I'm surprised ya'll niggz from the West havent learned that yet with all this Westside MC fuckin thats goin on (supposidly).  You want better results and more ppl to support your movement then do somethin different.  and ya'll niggaz in Cali too, ya'll have everything you need over there, stop bitchin and bein sheep and break down some fuckin doors.

Doggy first off you dont know me and second save all that talkin u doin 4 tha birdz.  You're mad bcuz nobody fucks wit' cha' man.  Reguardless of where tha fuck I'm from I digg wat I digg- and I know wat ppl digg.  u act like ya'll tha only niggaz out here thats doin this music hustle.  I love music from ALL coast (good music is good music).  U having a problem wit me likin' Rich Boy or supporting Soulja Boy just makes you and your whole "movement" look like haters, bitches, and cowards bcuz ya havent excepted tha fact that they shit just bang harder or they made a catchy record that most ppl favor over another.  Like I wass sayin b4... Out tha fuck from nowhere comes a nigga named "silkk calone" L-o-fuckin'-L wit' a bandanna on his face and a dj named 12 gauge talkin about "i'm A black nigga killa" and "I had it hard all my life bcuz I'm from South Central LA" and "I'm so gangsta bcuz i get money, smoke blunts, and like old school cars".  That market is dead- NIGGAZ IN CALIFORNIA OR THE WHOLE FUCKIN WESTSIDE DONT EVEN BUY THIS SHIT ANYMORE!!!! (jayo felony, mac shawn, Tha Dogg Pound????).  Ya man wont even make it to 2010.  I fucks wit' niggaz like Problem, Glasses, Bishop, Jay Rock not bcuz they exposed but they come real and they even make old-played out ass song concepts sound fresh again (Gucci Manne too).  Dont get caught up in the hype if you wana make it big you gotta come correct.  When NWA, WC, Snoop Dogg, Ice T, Bishop Lamont, Project Pat, Scarface etc. all first came out they would make songs about personal shit with subjects and topics and real life experiences put into a rhyme that told a story which made them who they are , which made ppl not call them bullshitters from the jump , which made their fanbases so strong (locally and nationally) , which made them BELIEVABLE: which is a neccessity for ya'll and you knew who the fuck they were when the song/album is done .  u c/hear wat I'm sayin', now I know you gonna run this tuff killa mobber nigga role on the net but take wat I serious (bcuz you dont know who I am).  You know what I'm sayin' wat Wild ass stories can you tell me about Cali and Life (more importantly Life) that stands out ex:  sexin' a chick and catchin' somethin', smokin some bad weed and trippin', etc. (thats all ima give you) - dont just come off da bat talkin about "I'ma kill you" and "I'ma gangsta" - What Tha Fuck Have You Proven? Wheres' Your Following? Who's your people? What's your message? Why should you be relevant?  Think about that shit dogg- bcuz even though you might not like wat I'm sayin and we can agree to disagree but you can't lie to yourself and say that wat I'm saying is wrong or it isn't information you cant use.  Same way you dont like a Rich Boy or Lil' Wayne album bcuz they make those "Southern Swangaz" is the same reason 789 million other people wont like your shit more (especially wit' dat same ass message/image you're puttin out there) .  I'm tryna help u not hate you- you dont get shit like wat I'm sayin everyday on MusicForums in general.  you can make your music catchy and "gangsta" at tha same time if you do it right (Jeezy, Jay Rock, Sticky Fingaz, Bishop Lamont, 50 Cent, GetoBoys, Fabolous, Hittman, MC Ren, Eazy E, DJ Quik, Snoop Dogg, Young Buck, Game, Too $hort, MJG, 8Ball, Juicy J, Crunchy Black, JadaKiss, the list goes on and on - thats an idea of wat i'm talkin about (Pac's first 8 bars over a dark, uptempo beat (smooth in this case) like that/ you can feel & visualize (subconsciencely) wat he's talkin about - and it makes you wana say/chant it.  I'm not sayin' do exactly wat they did or anything familiar to their creative shit but you gotta think of somethin' original.  how can you come in the game callin niggaz fake and pussies and unoriginal and then you turn around and do the same shit they do?????

BULLETIN ALERT:  The Westside is the fuckin monkey show- a buncha Crips, Bloods, & Potheads runnin' around in the street talkin about cars most people dont even drive anymore (I'm talkin about the 64s) and colors (which is no different from Jewelry & 24's).  I agree I too (with most of the world) agree that there's alotta bullshit out there but for every 1 bad song thats out there commercially there's 1000 "underground" tracks out there thats raw.  Dont just blame that shit on the South,,, fuck a Hyphy movement forreal, but I'll support tha artist/song if its hot.

NEW WEST! Silkk Calone "Process Of Elimination" Mixtape!

Here's some heat from Larceny Entertainment's Silkk Colone. The MC hails out of South Central Los Angeles and drops a heater with "Process of Elimination". And you won't find Silkk rhyming over your usual burnt out mixtape instrumentals, instead P.O.E sounds more like a street album than anything else. Expect big things from Silkk Colone and Larceny Entertainment in 09.

Here's the Track Listing along with 6 tracks for you to preview the mixtape. Enjoy.

The problem isn't the point, but the way you present it.... You are partially correct but your overly aggressive and anti-west presentation makes you come off as a hatin ass mark.... If you presented the facts of your opinion and left it alone, you'd be more respected and your opinions would carry greater weight.

You're right, a lot of the west coast artists go over the same played out concepts.... but not all of them, and you act as if every West Coast rapper is out here makinthe exact same music that NO ONE LIKES......
incase you haven't noticed, these niggas drive better cars and live in bigger houses then either you or myself, so obviously SOME ONE likes it.....

Second, you're being just as close minded as you say we are when you lump Everyone in the west into one category of music you don't like...

Again, it's not your point of view that is wrong, it's your presentation of it.... You come off as a hater... and as the saying goes, "If it walks like a duck and talks like a duck..."

Sounds good... but if you really knew what you were talking about, u would be getting a consultant check or working for a label, but your not so its basically your own personal opinion.  Go write a book, start a blog, get a girlfriend, make your own following since you have soo knowledge & so much free time to be here and write long synopsis' on artists post.  Hey , I got it, start a label, you have sooo much knowledge and know how you'll be the next Rap-A-Lot, or Grand Hustle!!!!

Oh and on your Bulleitn Alert - that Blood/Crip shit we started 25+ years ago... has your monkey ass artists in the south region copying it... Gucci Mane a blood?  Lil Wayne a blood?  What set they from??? Slim Thug a crip?  NY gangbangin???

Get the fuckoutta here u bumpkin....
