I've been meaning to do this for about 3 years lol. Ever since I moved out of parents house my CD's have been in boxes and I have been neglecting them. So they're all on my external hd now, and I'm just gonna put the cd's in the closet. It took about 2 weeks to do them all. It's so convenient to have them all right at your fingertips tho. I wish I would have done it sooner. Now I just have to organize the ID3 tags.
I gotta fix all my tags as well. How much space did it take up on the hard drive?
damn i have around 500 cd's as well i could rip...some of them were purchased during hiphop fads like no limit that i don't wish to listen to anymore...usually if i want an album i'll download it before i'd take the 5 minutes to find it in my cluttered room haha,AlerG
just in case you still need a easy to use program to organize that shitwww.mediamonkey.com
thats why I rip them as soon as I get them
arent Cd files like a WAV filesconverting to mp3 would save alot of hard drve space..
