Not so weird, I really hope some significant contact will be made one day. It will force us to rethink where we came from (religion, evolution) and perhaps if a relationship is built, give us more hopeful options for the future.

you'd think by now there would be some sort of real evidence to point out to some other intelligent life, but the universe is so big that who knows, maybe they exist but out planet is too isolated to ever cross paths

i think it would be awesome if some chilled out super smart aliens dropped some knowledge on us, if some hostile bastards came down they'd probably annihalate us though
