But it was all make believe I can't respect that. And besides shyne already talked about moving the whole major wieght thing on his debut album.to each their own I just found his style tiresome after a couple songs.he never switches up his flow and never says anything half way interesting
he does have a decent flow and voice.
to be honest I can not agree with you because rick ross came with a different perspective lyrically speaking about the dope game, different from the other mc's talking about dealing. He came with WEIGHT, dealing weight, and you could observe that in his 1st album, port of miami. Even the title is a bit interesting, because all the major deals in drugs are made in the port. So if you were used to lyrics like "he graduated from the middle of the street to the corner" Rick Ross comes talking about "Noreaga, the real Noreaga, he owns me a hundred favors" . This is why he emerged so quick on the scene, "Speedin'" "Maybach music" the prestented life of a "BOSS", one who's "dealing weight" in the sense of Miami dealing... I mean that's almost hollywoodish for rap game. His talent comes from originality. He got the looks for the music industry, because this is the boss' image created these days "a big fat powerfull man in a maybach affording to trade a $20,000 watch for not getting a speedin' ticket" plus, his creation lyrically is really...DOPE )) no, really he's tight for what he does. that's my opinion. Holla @ dawgz
hes wack imo his styles so played out and when youve heard people do the drug kingpin persona before him and do it a million times better he looks even worse.
