What's the story with Jack from jack in the box?

I don't get it.  There were bunch of commericals showing Jack being sick or injured...what the hell is that all about?

Ok that's what its about.  Didn't see it but I already hate it.  End that angle now.  Jack is the man since they started bringing in better food around 1992.  Got a Jack bobblehead even :)

What I think Jack in the Box will do next is bring him back better and improved.  Since the economy is fucked up, he'll come back saying that he had gone through a life changing experience (him almost died).  He'll lower the prices (hopefully!).  Jack is really good at marketing.  A lot of fast food chains are in competition when it comes to lowering their prices.  If one does it, then the other one will follow.  So hopefully he will lower the prices somewhat cause I really love the variety they offer!

He can start off by bringing the jumbo jack back for 99 cents.  I still remember that commercial where Jack said he would never raise the price of the jumbo jack.  And while he's at it, bring back the country fried steak sandwich :P .  That helped me like jack in the box again.  That & the ultimate cheeseburgers.
