Both are dope line-ups, but if you gave me the chance to hear a full, new album by either right now, I'd choose Slaughterhouse every time.

Sounds like a battle to me?
Somebody call up Don King/Top Rank or Golden Boy to set this up.

4 Horsemen all the way.  Crooked I is great, Royce is good, Joell and Joe are OK.  Whereas Kurupt, Ras, Canibus are great, Killah is good.

It's really tough for me actually...

To me Crooked and Royce are the ones that really make Slaughterhouse the super group, don't hate me people but Budden and Ortiz are the supporting characters.

Where as Kurupt, Ras Kass, Killah Priest and Canibus have all been acknowledged as deadly emcees on their own.

It's be a deadly battle, but I'd rather see a collabo. I highly doubt Budden or Ortiz could see even Canibus in a battle or Kurupt when he's in the zone.

Both were dope.  I think I'd have to go with Slaughterhouse, but it wouldn't necessarily be a blow out.  Any time you put Rass Kass and Canibus on a song together, good shit happens.

That's what I'm saying it'd be really close, both crews would have to be on their A game cause one slip up and it's a wrap.

This would be a battle. 1999's 4 Horsemen vs. 2009's Slaughterhouse. I have to do the measure of the tape for this one.

OK, in 1999 you have the 4 Horsemen, Ras Kass, Kurupt of the Dogg Pound, Killah Priest of the Wu Tang and Canibus. Killah and Kurupt had been out in the public due to their groups, and were two of the best lyricist in the game. At the time, Ras Kass and Canibus were two hungry beast who had just came into the game, Canibus ripping throught legend LL Cool J and Ras Kass on the Dr. Dre produced track, Ghetto Fabulous. So mainstream wise the 4 Horsemen were standing strong. Now of course politics got in the way of the project, and even the guys careers, but lets say it didn't, what we would have are 4 hot lyricist, two in their prime and two vets putting down on hot album. Now because Kurupt was on the decline, and Killah was in Wu trauma, I'm not sure how much they'd put in, but you can bet the house that Canibus and Ras Kass would bring a flaming hell with them.

In 2009, you have Slaughterhouse, which this time is 4 disgruntled emcees, Royce Da 5'9, Crooked I, Joe Budden and Joel Ortiz. All 4 have their fan base, Royce and Crooked are known for being just beast on the mic, Budden and Ortiz are seen as solid emcees who just can't hit that mainstream, and the 4 want to take it out on a track. Slaughterhouse seems like it would be hungrier, and Royce and Crooked will finally get that chip off their shoulder.

In a battle, I think it would come to Crooked and Royce vs. Ras Kass and Canibus, and off this I am going with....

Slaughterhouse. It's not easy, but I just think that Crooked and Royce's experience will give Slaughterhouse that extra push that's needed to be a great group.
