I thought Hey Playa had that over crowded sound, but I was listening on my laptop. Hooked it up to my stereo and it sounds a lot better so check the speakers you're bumpin' them on before you make your final judgment. 

word, ok... i checked it out properly. i like it more, but it still sounds overcrowded. I really think replaying the sample would make it sound alot better

and yeah, the fuck is quik rappin about? maybe its a running theme in the song - everything clashes, lol

I think the beats are too noisy. I have to listen very good to understand the lyrics. I can't say I like them or dislike them. It's a whole new sound. It's not that crystal clear anymore like the old Quik. I really don't have an opinion... Yet.

Do NOT compare Quik's Grooves to this shit.
