Tragedy.  I went out on Wed night, and my only stipulation to going out was that the girl I was with drive.  She ended up gettin a DUI.  I felt very bad for her, but at the end of the day my instincts were correct that I knew I shouldn't be driving.  I'm not gonna shit on the guy that killed this pitcher...we all make mistakes.  Live and learn.

RIP

I am.  His license was already suspended from a previous DUI.

I take it you've never gotten a speeding ticket or something?  I have...on multiple occasions.  Thank God I've never killed anyone w/ my vehicle, but if I did would you look at me and say "well he does have 6 speeding tickets in the last 10 years, he's a piece of shit"?  Maybe you would, but I believe we are all people and we all make mistakes.  Not at all excusing what he did, but I'm not about to get all holier than thou either.

A speeding ticket, or 6 is a different class than a DUI.  There are thousands of people on the road right now drunk as hell, and if they get caught they should be punished.  Driving is crazy enough without impaired people on the road.  We need to forgive this guy?  I understand your point but how many times was he going to drive drunk before something like this happens?  We will never know but if he didn't learn anything from his first ticket he was too cool to worry about a second one.  He had a chance to change.  He decided not to.  You can agree he should be punished for life without thinking he's a piece of shit.

The DA office is filing a report and will possibly charge the fucking scumbag with murder. I hate drunk drivers.

I don't see how the DA will be able to convict this scumbag of murder though.  1st degree murder requires premeditation and deliberation and although that is not required for 2nd degree murder their is still a requirement of intent to kill for 2nd degree murder.  In a death related from a DUI I don't see how you can charge the defendant w/ murder in the first or second degree, DUI Manslaughter which is Involuntary Manslaughter is the most you can charge the defendant with considering the situations that exist.  The DA could try the Felony-Murder rule if it is applicable in the state where this charge will be filed but that is also a longshot.

his license was suspended; he ran a red light and THEN he FLED the scene

still, i see DUI Manslaughter x3

Reckless drivers are morons.  The roads are for all drivers, why the hell should I feel bad for people that are a threat to themselves and everyone else? I understand people making mistakes, but some motherfuckers don't learn at all.

LMFAO at this senseless moron trying to say we should all feel bad for the driver, FUCK THAT!!  How can you even say that?  Think about the victim here and his family during this tragedy, but no lets feel bad for the deadbeat piece of trash that caused this whole situation, this world just gets worse and worse by the day. LOL at feeling remorse for the scumbag driver here, get the fuck out of here with that bullshit and GROW UP!
