It's always cool to read about more Crooked I music.  However, at this point, I have to say it will be much cooler to hear new Crooked I music than to read about it.

I hear you, I just wanted to spread the word and let fans know what he's up to.

No that's cool, man.  You always come through with the Crooked I info, which I very much appreciate.

See you just said artists save their best work for their albums. That's why I said I stopped checking for Crooked. Aside from Terrace Martin's mixtapes I haven't checked anyones mixtapes because they are garbage. You can take whatever the artist gives you and force yourself to like it because that's all they are dropping. Or you can choose the quality shit you bump like I do.

I don't force myself to like shit.  I like what I like.  Just cause you think mutherfuckas got to be on the same page as you doesn't mean they do.  If you don't want to check out mixtapes or street albums that's you.  I could give a fuck.

I agree completely. I never forced myself to like any music. If I like it I bump it if not I'll pass.

There's a lot of gems on Crooked's (and many other people's) mixtapes, to just sleep on mixtapes period doesn't make sense to me, but to each their own.

FROM: http://www.thebossboard.com/article.php?newid=177

Quote
Recently The B.O.S.S. Board was able to catch up with the underground Hip Hop group Black Bannerz to learn about their upcoming project which features Crooked I. Firstly, the group consists of two emcees, one by the name of Holywar and the other Slave of the Almighty (S.O.T.A.). The group hails from Syria and are planning to drop their double album titled "Musical Revolution" later this year. Holywar explains that the album covers such topics as the conflicts in the Middle East as well as police brutality, hunger and several other serious issues plaguing our world. Interestingly enough, the group plans to release the album in both Arabic and English in an attempt to reach a wider audience. Additionally, as mentioned before, the group has also reached out to Crooked I to lace rhymes on their project. The track will be titled "Militant Minded" and is produced by the Syrian production team Orient Squad. Fans should certainly be looking forward to this collaboration, but there are several other known emcees featured on the project as well. The group was also able to reach out to artists such as Kool G Rap, Immortal Technique, Sean Price, Nino Bless, Scram Jones, Chino XL and several others. We encourage listeners to step outside the box and experience Hip Hop from another perspective by supporting this project. The Black Bannerz are very passionate about their craft, so make certain to visit their MySpace page for additional information and stay tuned for "Musical Revolution" later this year.

You think I give a fuck about a rapper's financial status?

I'm a fan of the music.  No scratch that I'm a fiend for music.  I get high off that shit.  Getting proper crack is all I care about.  I could give a shit if Crooked-I, Bishop Lamont, Saigon, Papoose, Stat Quo, (insert any rappers name) ever releases a proper album in stores.  As long as I get the product of a minimum quality of 196kpbs though I do prefer cd rips at flac or 320 mp3s.  I'm fine with 196, after 256 my ears really can't tell a difference.

I try to support those I really enjoy by buying their music so they can have the time to produce more music instead of working a day job and doing it just for the love.  So I could give a fuck about a rapper making proper financial moves.  I'm just talking about content and who they're making music with.
Who said anything about his financial status buddy? The point I'm trying to make is mixtapes ain't shit. Recording music for an album is different than putting together a mixtape. Anyone can throw some songs together and call it a mixtape. Punk ass kids do it all the time on the internet and then they call themselves DJs. Do you think Dre is thinking "I can put this shit on a mixtape" for all his beats that don't make Detox? No he's working hard to put together a well structured album. Crooked I just puts out mixtapes every month not making it the BEST it can be, because he is just trying to stay relevant.

I just went to his myspace and listened to "If you ever see me" or whatever and that shit is garbage. The beat is wack ass fuck its like a 3 second loop. Fiend for music? Is that the shit you fiend for? Crooked shouldn't be on a song called "Musical Revolution" because musically his shit sucks. He's got tight raps but that's all he's got. That's why I said all he'll ever be is a mixtape rapper

droppin jewels. JEWELS.

Basically, you're a hater and you're a biased idiot with elitist perspectives.  While I don't like fat chicks there are people who do and it's not because they're forced themselves to.  Go fuck yourself and die.

My thoughts exactly. This other dude is the definition of hater.. By the way, Crooked's mixtapes have more quality than most albums coming out these days, so who cares what it's called.

Crooked is making so many proper moves.  This sound so fucking dope.  I might be more excited for this than slaughterhouse.

I like that Crooked steps outside the box with his music, he doesn't conform to the usual garbage that floods the airwaves or even the net these days. MUSIC WITH CONTENT.

hey dont talk about 90% of rappers like that, its not there fault they can only rap about money pussy drugs and confetti
